With its single unit, NoVACS is equivalent to an electro-acoustic control chain including a conditioning unit, a multi-channel real-time signal processing board and a real-time signal visualisation device.
NoVACS, combined with a number of sensors (microphones, accelerometers) and feedback sources (loudspeakers, shaker units), is a general multi-reference active control system which consists of a real-time microprocessor, necessary for driving the control system, via an algorithm designed to minimise energy measured by the sensors.
