presentation
ASCa active silencers also come with a range of traditional passive baffle silencers to improve their effectiveness and manage all audible frequencies (20Hz-20kHz).
This system, developed by the IBP Fraunhofer Institute, is produced and sold by TechnoFirst under exclusive licence.

principle
The microphone picks up the noise propagating in the air duct and transmits this data to the electronic system. This system analyses this data and generates, in real time, the appropriate sounds in anti-phase. The loudspeaker associated with the amplifier emits these sounds which reduce the noise.
APPLICATIONEXAMPLES
- Output or input treatment of short ducts
- Ventilation system ducts and air handling units
- Treatment of air inlets and diffusers
- Façade openings
- Autonomous air conditioning units
- Original equipment on all types of fans, extractor hoods and air curtains
- Intercom systems treatment in buildings
- Reduction in the normal modes of enclosed cavities
